G-Beach Residence: A Dialogue Between Modernism and Nature

The G-Beach Residence is a striking residential development situated in Jesolo, Italy. This project, completed in 2025, spans an impressive 4520 square meters and is a testament to thoughtful architectural design that respects and engages with its historical and natural context. Conceived by B+D+M Architetti, the residence draws significant inspiration from the neighboring Hotel Bellevue, a modernist masterpiece from 1956 designed by Renzo Menegazzo. The architects have skillfully woven contemporary living spaces into an environment that echoes the aesthetic principles of mid-century modernism, particularly those of Oscar Niemeyer, whose 1955 Belo Horizonte Library influenced the original hotel's iconic features.
A Modern Residential Marvel in Jesolo
The G-Beach Residence, masterfully brought to life by B+D+M Architetti, is a newly established residential complex nestled in the picturesque coastal town of Jesolo, Italy. The development, finalized in 2025, boasts a substantial area of 4520 square meters. The project's genesis lies in a profound dialogue with its distinguished predecessor, the Hotel Bellevue. This iconic hotel, envisioned by Renzo Menegazzo in 1956, bears a notable resemblance to Oscar Niemeyer's 1955 Belo Horizonte Library, sharing distinctive architectural characteristics. B+D+M Architetti, under the leadership of Alex Braggion and GianPaolo Di Benedetto, embarked on a mission to create a contemporary living space that not only complements the historical grandeur of the Bellevue but also integrates harmoniously with the surrounding verdant pine forest. The design team, comprising Alberto Bretini, Francesco Roccaforte, Riccardo Lazzarini, and Federico Picech, meticulously crafted each element to ensure a seamless blend of modernist elegance and natural tranquility. Proteco Engineering provided expert services engineering for this ambitious endeavor. Photographer Alessandra Bello captured the essence of this architectural achievement, highlighting its exterior grandeur and interior sophistication.
The construction of the G-Beach Residence reflects a deep appreciation for architectural heritage while pushing the boundaries of modern residential design. The project demonstrates how new structures can respectfully coexist with and draw inspiration from existing landmarks, enriching the urban and natural landscape. It offers valuable insights into sustainable development and context-sensitive design in popular tourist destinations.
