While no specific upgrades within the Armor Matrix are strictly mandatory, investing in attribute enhancements, restoration upgrades, and weapon proficiency nodes is always beneficial. Given Rhabdom's mobility, maintaining distance is key, making shotguns less ideal. Instead, weapons with an autohit feature are highly recommended for consistent damage. A weapon level of 30 is optimal, though anything above 25 is manageable. The introduction of Overdrive during this stage significantly impacts the boss's health, reducing the sole reliance on weapon damage. • Yellow slashes: Rhabdom unleashes five slashes, each accompanied by a yellow projectile, with the final strike launching three. These can be evaded by dodging or lateral movement. Environmental elements like stairs and platforms can also partially block these projectiles.
• Yellow rings/Stomp: Rhabdom stomps, generating expanding yellow rings at varying heights. The center of these rings is filled with yellow orbs, necessitating a grapple to the higher platform for avoidance. These orbs persist on the ground before ascending.
• Homing blue projectiles: A blue flash precedes the release of a blue orb that fragments into homing projectiles, requiring precise dodging or shield usage. This typically follows a stomp.
• Leap: Rhabdom leaps towards the player, slamming the ground and dispersing red orbs. This sequence repeats three times. Dodging away mid-air is crucial to avoid both the leap and the subsequent projectiles.

The most effective tactic against Rhabdom involves continuous circular movement around the arena, utilizing the grappling hook when the boss closes in. Regular deployment of power weapons and Overdrive, when fully charged, is also vital.

Upon reaching half health, Rhabdom introduces two new attacks:

• Homing yellow projectiles: These replace the homing blue projectiles, requiring similar dodging maneuvers.
• Yellow vomit: Rhabdom expels yellow projectiles and actively chases the player. This attack is exclusively performed on the lower level, making grappling to a higher platform a safe evasion strategy.
